Ever been sitting there staring at a cereal box and, like a lightning bolt, you have an epiphany? Generally, the magnitude of these eureka moments is limited to where you left your sunglasses or determining the correct turn to complete the maze. In Amanda’s case, she chose a career path. Don’t fret, Guidance Counselors, it’s not as bad as it sounds. A high school project to design a new cereal box and develop a marketing campaign is what set the wheels in motion. JAN Kelley simply recognized the potential and jumped on it. Showing remarkable impatience, we welcomed Amanda aboard while still in the process of completing her Honours Bachelor of Commerce at McMaster University. Her foot came high-kicking through the agency door during the MARS Apprentice program – which has certainly become a factory for JKM recruits. Today, she does project coordination for a range of clients; including Ronald McDonald House Hamilton, Parkinson Society Canada, Novelis and Petro-Canada.
